Quick Guide to Travel Insurance
Premium Plan The Premium Plan by Arch Insurance includes coverage for Trip Cancellation/Interruption, Medical Expense, Emergency Evacuation/Assistance, Baggage Loss/Delay and Trip Delays. Reasons for cancellation, interruption, and delay include (but are not limited to) medical emergencies for the traveler, traveling companion, or traveler’s family member, and some weather-related events, strikes, and job-loss situations. The Premium Plan must be purchased through Arch Insurance by the time you make your final payment to Customized Journeys for your trip. In order to include pre-existing medical conditions in the coverage of your Premium Plan, you must purchase it within 21 days of your initial deposit to Customized Journeys.
Cancel for Any Reason Plan There is an upgrade of the Premium Plan available, called Cancel for Any Reason, which allows you to cancel your trip for any reason up to 48 hours in advance of your departure. This insurance covers 75% of your non-refundable trip costs.
The upgrade to the Cancel for Any Reason Plan must be purchased within 21 days of your initial deposit to Customized Journeys.

The price of your insurance is calculated based on the price of your trip, the length of your trip, and your age. If you wish to cover not only the price of the trip you bought with Customized Journeys, but also the cost of your flight and any pre or post trip hotel stays that you bought, you have the opportunity to incorporate those numbers when you input the cost of your trip and dates you are traveling.
