We will start our sightseeing with a visit to the Frick — a quaint little museum that boasts lovely music performances and an unforgettable permanent collection. http://www.frick.org
After the Frick, we will enjoy a leisurely stroll into nearby Central Park, where we will have lunch at the Boat House. October is a lovely time of year to sit with great food at the Boat House overlooking one of the world’s most beautiful urban ponds. http://www.thecentralparkboathouse.com
Next, after a rest at our hotel or time for shopping, we’ll make our way to Gramercy Park, another incredible urban oasis. You can choose to enjoy more Autumn leaves or hunker down at one of our favorite local wine bars for cheese, charcuterie and fine wine. We can unwind and chat until we move next door to Bar Jamon & Casa Mono, our favorite Mario Batali restaurant and the best spot in town for a meal of Spanish Tapas. http://www.casamononyc.com
We will end our day with an optional visit to the Comedy Cellar in Greenwich Village, the top comedy spot in Manhattan. The most outrageous comics test out new material here so be warned: it can get a little naughty. http://www.comedycellar.com
We will start our day with a refreshing stroll along the world famous High Line. Running from 14th St and 10th Ave all the way to 35th, this urban stroll is the finest the city has to offer. http://www.thehighline.org
You’ll enjoy a little time on your own later in the morning to step back into the many shops you will have passed by during your stroll.
It’s a perfect day to invite out our Chi Omega friends in NYC to Bergdorf’s rooftop restaurant and bar on 5th Avenue for a special Chi Omega Luncheon. Bergdorf’s offers amazing views over Central Park and it’s THE PLACE for ladies who lunch!
Next, we’ll take in New York’s greatest museum, the Metropolitan Museum of Art. We are friends with a curator, so we are excited to show you something that is near and dear to our hearts!
After a break back at our hotel and time for a light dinner on your own, we’ll finish the day with an amazing show! You can enjoy either a night of music at the legendary Apollo Theatre (https://www.apollotheater.org) or the Broadway Musical of your choice! Book your trip early so that we have time to book exactly what you want.
