Designed especially for the Pellicano Vineyard team, family and friends, this trip is not about work, but about stepping away together—time to relax, savor Italy’s flavors, and enjoy each other’s company in a whole new way. From the rolling hills of Tuscany to the vibrant traditions of Emilia-Romagna, this is a journey of connection, celebration, and shared discovery.

DAY 0 - Saturday, March 14: The Journey Begins

Fly from the US or Canada to Florence, Italy. Relax and enjoy the anticipation of the adventure ahead as you prepare for your overnight international flight. Group flight options from Toronto will be offered once the trip is confirmed

DAY 1- Sunday, March 15: Welcome to Tuscany

Upon arrival at Florence Airport, our group will transfer to a charming countryside hotel in Tuscany. Take time to rest, settle in, or stroll the grounds before we gather for a festive welcome dinner featuring regional specialties and local wines. For those who choose to arrive a few days early to explore Florence, you are welcome to meet us at the airport today and join the group transfer to the countryside. Overnight in Tuscan countryside

DAY 2 - Monday, March 16: Lorenzo Vineyard Visit, Wine Tasting & Regional Tastings

A highlight of the trip, today we’ll journey to Vinci—the birthplace of Leonardo da Vinci and home to the vineyards that grow the grapes for Pellicano’s Italian wines. At the Lorenzo estate, enjoy a private vineyard tour, guided wine tasting, and sweeping countryside views. We’ll also share a leisurely countryside lunch and savor other local specialties, such as freshly pressed olive oil or artisan cheeses. Overnight in Tuscan countryside

DAY 3 - Tuesday, March 17: Relaxation in Montecatini

Recharge with a visit to the historic thermal town of Montecatini Terme. Soak in the thermal baths, book a spa service, or wander the elegant streets lined with cafés and boutiques. In the afternoon, we’ll gather for a tasting at another Tuscan winery, exploring the region’s diversity through its wines. Overnight in Tuscan countryside

DAY 4 - Wednesday, March 18: Bologna Food Tour & Arrival in Ferrara

After breakfast and check-out, we’ll begin our journey north to Emilia-Romagna. Our first stop: Bologna, the university city celebrated as Italy’s food capital. A guided walking tour will lead us through its historic streets and vibrant food markets, where we’ll taste iconic specialties of the area. Continuing on, we’ll arrive in Ferrara, our base for the next four nights. After check-in and rest, we’ll enjoy dinner at a local trattoria featuring regional dishes. Overnight in Ferrara

DAY 5 - Thursday, March 19: Ferrari, Balsamic & Parmigiano Reggiano

This morning we’ll visit the Ferrari Museum in Maranello. Test your skills in the racing simulator or simply admire Italy’s most iconic cars. The day continues with immersive tastings: first, a visit to a traditional balsamic vinegar acetaia, then to a producer of Parmigiano Reggiano where will also sample some local Prosciutto di Parma. Return to Ferrara in the afternoon, with free time to dine in town at leisure. Overnight in Ferrara

DAY 6 - Friday, March 20: Ferrara & Hands-On Cooking

Enjoy a free morning or join an optional guided walking tour of Ferrara’s historic center, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Later today, we’ll come together for a hands-on cooking class, preparing classic local dishes and enjoying the results together as one of today’s meals. The rest of the day is yours to relax, shop, and explore.Overnight in Ferrara

DAY 7 - Saturday, March 21: Po River Delta

Venture off the beaten path with an excursion to the Po River Delta. Enjoy a scenic boat ride through this unique ecosystem before visiting Comacchio, known for its canals and culinary traditions. Here, we’ll tour a local eel facility (a regional delicacy) and share a delicious farewell lunch. Returning to Ferrara, the evening is free for last strolls, gelato, or a relaxed dinner on your own. DAY 9 - Sunday, March 22: Farewell to Italy

This morning, transfer to Bologna International Airport for your return flight home, bringing with you memories of vineyards, flavors, laughter, and the joy of shared travel in Italy. Guests wishing to extend their journey may opt to be dropped at Bologna’s train station to continue exploring or to catch a train elsewhere in Italy.
