From savory Sardinian pecorino and handmade pasta to Corsican charcuterie and mountain wines, this is a journey through landscapes where food and wine are deeply rooted in the land and culture. Alongside expert winemakers and passionate locals, you’ll explore archaeological wonders, charming coastal towns, and vibrant villages while savoring the regional flavors that make this corner of the world so special.

DAY 0 - Sunday, May 3:Fly from the US to Cagliari, Sardinia

Depart on your international flight to Cagliari, the cultural and historical capital of Southern Sardinia. Note: Pre-nights in Cagliari are available for those who wish to arrive early. Please inquire for rates and availability.

DAY 1 - Monday, May 4: - Welcome to Sardinia

Upon arrival at Cagliari airport, you will be greeted by your private driver for your transfer to your centrally located hotel in the heart of Cagliari. Take the afternoon to relax, stroll along the waterfront or enjoy an espresso in one of the city’s historic piazzas. In the evening gather with your fellow travelers for a welcome talk and dinner. This special meal will introduce you to the favors of Sardinia paired with local wines selected by Morgan and Jessica. Overnight in Cagliari.

DAY 2- Tuesday, May 5: Wild Landscapes & Ancient Civilizations

Today we depart for the high volcanic plateau of Giara di Gesturi, home to wild horses and ancient oaks. Enjoy a light hike followed by a tasting of Sardinian specialties. After lunch, we will continue to Su Nuraxi, a UNESCO world heritage site showcasing Bronze Age megalithic towers. We will then arrive in Oristano, a costal town where medieval architecture meets Moorish flair. Enjoy dinner on your own this evening, with plenty of local restaurants offering a variety of Sardinian dishes and wine. Overnight in Oristano.

Day 3 - Wednesday, May 6: Tharros, Vernaccia & Island Traditions

This morning, we visit the evocative ruins of Tharros, an ancient Phoenician and Roman settlement dramatically located on a narrow peninsula jutting into the sea. We’ll explore the site aboard a scenic trenino (mini train), where an audio-guided tour will bring to life the layered history of this once-flourishing coastal city. Afterward, we’ll travel to a local winery, renowned for its production of Vernaccia di Oristano, one of Sardinia’s most distinctive wines. Here, we’ll enjoy a tasting and relaxed group lunch, featuring regional dishes paired with their elegant, barrel-aged wines. If time and interest allow, we may also stop in Samugheo, a hilltop village known for its traditional handwoven carpets and textile arts. Overnight in Oristano.

Day 5 - Friday, May 8: The Enchanting Caves of Neptune

Today you will enjoy a scenic journey to the majestic promontory of Capo Caccia, where the enchanting Caves of Neptune await. Named for their awe-inspiring grandeur, the caves are accessible by boat or by climbing 650 steps. We opt for the boat, allowing for a leisurely cruise to the cave entrance. After this immersive exploration, we will return to Alghero where you enjoy time on your own to continue exploring the cobblestone streets of this charming city. Overnight in Alghero.

Day 6 - Saturday, May 9: A “taste” of Corsica

Today we will cross the Strait of Bonifacio to Corsica. After arriving in Bonifacio, perched dramatically on white limestone cliffs, we will enjoy a walking tour of this enchanting town with its Genoese fortifications and sweeping sea views. We will relax with an aperitizo at the harbor featuring a local Corsican cocktail. In the evening, we will enjoy a group dinner at a rustic countryside inn known for its hearty island fare and welcoming hospitality. Overnight in or near Bonifacio.

Day 7 - Sunday, May 10: Natural Pools, Wine & Corsican Charm”

This morning we will visit the Piscines Naturelles de Cavu, a series of freshwater pools nestled in the Corsican mountains. We will enjoy a picnic lunch with local wine and fresh ingredients. Later, we will visit a celebrated Corsican winery, where we will taste elegant whites and robust reds. We will then return to Bonafacio where you can opt to take a harbor tour before our group dinner this evening. Overnight in or near Bonifacio

Day 8 - Monday, May 11: Return to Sardinia, Wine & Ancient History

Today we will ferry back to Santa Teresa di Gallura, then travel south through Gallura, known for its granite outcrops and Vermentino vineyards. We will visit the Tombe dei Giganti, a Bronze Age archeological site, followed by a tasting at a Gallura winery. If time allows, we will stop at a coastal beach for an aperitivo by the sea. We will then continue to the Cala Gonone area to check into our hotel. Overnight in the Cala Gonone area.

Day 9 - Tuesday, May 12: Cala Luna & the Grotte del Bue Marino

This morning we will return to the main island of Sardinia. Weather permitting, we’ll embark on an enchanting boat excursion to the Grotta del Blue Marino(the Cave of the Marine Ox), one of Sardinia's most evocative caves. Once a refuge for the now-extinct monk seal, its name pays homage to this unique history. Our adventure continues to Cala Luna, a gem among bays and beaches, offering another view of the region's enchanting coastal beauty. We will then continue to our countryside agriturismo hotel near to Cala Gonone this evening. Overnight near Cala Gonone.

Day 10 - Wednesday, May 13: Mamoiada & Orgasolo

Today, we journey to the enchanting medieval village of Mamoiada, renowned for its unique Carnival celebrations and traditional masks. We will also enjoy a wine tasting of Cannonau di Sardegna at a nearby producer. Later we visit Orgasolo, famous for its that adorn the historic center. We will finish our day with a farewell dinner at a local agriturosmo where we will also enjoy traditional music. Overnight near Cala Gonone.

Day 11 - Thursday, May 14: Departure from Olbia

Today marks the conclusion of our enriching journey, as we embark on a morning group transfer to Olbia Costa Smeralda airport.

Optional Extension: For those wishing to stay and continue enjoying the beautiful coast and beaches of Sardinia, a post-trip extension in the Budoni area is available. Relax at a seaside resort, explore nearby villages, and enjoy an optional boat excursion to Punta Tavolara, a striking limestone island rising dramatically from the sea. This extension offers a perfect way to unwind after your journey and soak in a bit more of Sardinia’s sun-drenched charm. Please inquire for details.
