Known for its iconic Linzer Torte and dynamic cultural scene, Linz offers a perfect blend of tradition and modernity. Here, we'll savor a tasting of the famed Linzer Torte paired with the local Grüner Veltliner wine, capturing the essence of Austrian flavors. Here, we'll visit a traditional southern German brewery, where you’ll have the opportunity to sample some of the region’s renowned beers, immersing yourself in the rich brewing heritage of Bavaria. Afterward, we'll continue to Neuschwanstein Castle where we will visit this fairytale landmark before continuing to the town of Konstanz on Lake Constance where you will have time on your own this evening to explore this quaint lake side city. Today, we’ll we’ll embark on a scenic boat ride on the shimmering waters of Lake Constance crossing over to the other side of the lake where our driver will meet us to take us through picturesque vineyards set against the backdrop of the majestic Alps, where you'll have the chance to explore the unique terroir that produces some of Germany's most celebrated wines. We'll start with an exclusive wine-tasting experience at a renowned local winery, where you'll sample a selection of the region's finest vintages, from crisp white wines to robust reds. Learn about the region's winemaking traditions and discover the distinctive characteristics that make these wines truly special. Afterward, we’ll return to Konstanz for the evening. . Upon arriving in Heidelberg, you’ll embark on a guided tour of this enchanting city, beginning in the renowned university district—the oldest in Germany. Stroll through narrow, cobblestone streets flanked by centuries-old buildings, and feel the vibrant academic spirit that has thrived here for over 600 years. Today, we’ll journey through the picturesque Bopparder Hamm region, renowned for its steep vineyards and exceptional Riesling wines. We’ll stop for wine tastings, where you’ll experience the unique flavors that this region’s terroir imparts to its wines. Next, we’ll visit the legendary Lorelei Rock by boat, a dramatic slate cliff rising above the Rhine River, steeped in folklore and offering stunning views of the river valley below. Today, we’ll begin with a tasting of the Mosel region’s signature Riesling wines, celebrated for their crisp acidity and mineral-rich flavors. Afterward, we’ll visit the historic city of Trier, Germany’s oldest city and a UNESCO World Heritage Site, known for its well-preserved Roman architecture, including the impressive Porta Nigra gate. In the evening, we’ll take part in a private cooking class where you’ll learn to prepare Tresterfleisch, a traditional dish made with tender meat braised in local wine, before enjoying a delicious dinner. Today, we’ll cross the border into the small yet vibrant country of Luxembourg, known for its rich history, stunning landscapes, and status as one of the world's wealthiest nations. During our day trip, we’ll visit its capital city and a renowned local winery, where you’ll enjoy tastings of Luxembourg’s exquisite wines, particularly their sparkling Crémant. Along the way you will see fascinating insights into the country’s unique culture and history. After exploring, we’ll return to our Mosel area resort in the afternoon and enjoy a farewell group dinner. . Overnight in Mosel region.
